I did that before, It does not have any effect. In fact, when selecting the option "Do not open browser..." , Freegate will immediately updates the "fg.ini" file and writes the line "OpenBrowser=0" to that file. But it seems that when Freegates starts running, it does not take that particular setting in to account and will open Internet Explorer anyway.
To summarise it
The behavior of Freegate with "OpenBrowser=0" is the same as "OpenBrowser=1" : Internet Explorer will be started.

There is one simple way to solve this problem:
remove all files except fg741p.exe in current directory , then run it and do some config.
it will auto generate files like 'fg.ini' , ' fglog.txt' , 'dtwpc.dat'.
